Title
3600 East Airport Road
Location
On 12/31/2015 at 7:20 a.m. a home invasion was reported in the 3600 block of East Airport Road. Five suspects reportedly entered the apartment, two armed with a shotgun and a handgun, and assaulted one of the residents. The suspects fled the area prior to officers arrival. Traffic Crash - Fatality
Title
2600 Austin Bluffs Pkwy
Location
Update as of 2:00 PM-All lanes of Austin Bluffs Parkway are open.

Falcon Division officers were dispatched to the 2600 block of Austin Bluffs Parkway to a head-on collision involving three vehicles. The investigation, which is ongoing, has so far determined that a red 1994 Honda Civic was going westbound on Austin Bluffs Parkway when it lost control and crossed over the center median and struck an eastbound 2003 silver Jeep Liberty head-on. The Jeep then subsequently collided with a 2006 white Chevy utility van which was also going eastbound on Austin Bluffs Pkwy.

There were two occupants in the Honda Civic. One occupant was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. The other was transported to a local hospital and was later pronounced dead. The two occupants of the Jeep Liberty were also transported and are in good and stable condition. The driver of the Chevy Van was not injured.

Speed is suspected as being a contributing factor in the accident. It is unknown at this time if drugs or alcohol were involved.

Austin Bluffs Parkway is currently shut down in both directions from Union Blvd to Meadowland Blvd.
