On the above date and time, CSPD Officers were dispatched to a family disturbance involving a knife in the 2500 block of King Street. Upon arrival, officers detained a juvenile male and recovered a knife. The investigation revealed that the disturbance was between the juvenile and his mother. During the altercation the mother sustained a significant cut to her arm. She was treated at a local hospital and later released. The juvenile male was taken into custody and later transported to the Spring Creek Juvenile Detention Center on charges of Second Degree Assault and Menacing.

1110 Bayfield Drive
Location
Gold Hill units were dispatched to a shooting in front of Honeywell at 1110 Bayfield Drive. Upon arrival officers discovered a 36 year old female had been shot in the upper leg with a shotgun. The female knew her attacker and identified him as 38 year old Joe Montgomery. Investigation revealed that suspect had returned to his nearby residence and left with additional firearms. Officers held the house for a search warrant. At approximately 2135 hours the suspect returned home while officers were on scene and was taken into custody without incident. During the search warrant the shotgun was recovered from the suspectís residence. The victimís injuries were serious but not life threatening. Mr. Montgomery was booked on charges of attempted murder.

Milton E. Proby Pkwy, west of Hancock Expy.
Location
On 04/09/2016 at 5:10 p.m., the Colorado Springs Police Department received a call for service of a roll over traffic accident on Milton E. Proby Pkwy., west of Hancock Expy.

A silver sedan and a maroon sport utility vehicle were involved in an accident and the maroon sport utility vehicle rolled and landed on its top. One person was ejected from the maroon sport utility vehicle and sustained serious injuries. A total of six individuals were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. The maroon sport utility vehicle was a reported stolen vehicle.

The Colorado Springs Police Department's Major Accident Unit responded to assist with the investigation. The investigation is ongoing at this time and further information regarding the extent of injuries and identities of all involved parties is being ascertained.

Westbound Milton E. Proby Pkwy from Hancock Expressway was closed during the investigation and is now re-open.

4000 Block of Austin Bluffs Parkway
Location
On Saturday, April 9, 2016, at approximately 2:10PM, the Colorado Springs Police Department received a call for service stating that a white male had forced a white female into a vehicle and fled the area. This occurred in the 4000 Block of Austin Bluffs Parkway.

The vehicle was described as a Gold colored Acura MDX with a possible partial Colorado Plate of ďQEOĒ.

The male suspect is a white male, believed to be in his mid-50ís, who has gray hair pulled into a ponytail, wearing a gray AERO t-shirt and blue jeans.

The female victim is described as white female, late teens to early 20s in age, wearing black pants and a red hooded sweatshirt and having blonde hair.

Per a witness on scene, the female was in the vehicle when it drove away.

Investigating officers recovered video surveillance from the scene. The white male can be seen forcing the female into the vehicle. CSPD is asking for the publicís assistance in identifying the possible suspect and victim in order to check the welfare of both parties to ensure there is no foul play.

On 04/09/16 approximately 0234 hours, the Colorado Springs Police Department Communications Center began receiving multiple calls of shots fired in the area of Keith Drive and Old Fountain Boulevard. One of the persons that called reported that she had been driving in the area with a female passenger and that the passenger had been shot. The two females drove to the Sand Creek Substation where they were contacted by officers. The female that had been shot was transported to a local hospital where she was treated for serious but not life threatening injuries. Officers checked the area near Keith Drive and Old Fountain Boulevard and found the shooting scene. There is no suspect information at this time; however, it is believed that the suspects were driving in two separate light colored vehicles.

3700 block of Astrozon Blvd.

On April 9, 2016 at 1:39AM, officers with the Sand Creek Division were dispatched to the 3700 block of Astrozon Blvd. in regards to a shooting. Upon arrival, the officers could not locate any victims but began an investigation after finding evidence that shots had been fired. Shortly afterwards, a male victim arrived by personal vehicle at a local hospital and was suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim is currently receiving treatment and is expected to survive.

Detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit are still in the early stages of the investigation and no suspects are in custody.

Officers were dispatched to a single vehicle crash near the intersection of Circle Dr. and Sturgis Rd. The investigation showed that the single vehicle was northbound on Circle Dr. and went off the right side of the road. The car struck several curbs, a light pole, boulders, and a large tree. The only occupant, a 20 year old male, was taken to the hospital and in critical condition. While alcohol and drugs do not appear to have been factors, speed does appear to have been a contributing factor to this crash. Northbound Circle Dr. was closed for several hours due to the large debris field.

Constitution Avenue & Villa Loma Drive

On Thursday, 04-07-2016, at 12:04PM, CSPD received information regarding a wanted fugitive in the 5400 block of Trout Creek Pass Drive.

Officers responded to the area and located the fugitive, Dante Anderson, who was a passenger in a moving vehicle. Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle; however, the vehicle fled. Officers conducted a Tactical Vehicle Intervention and forcibly stopped the fleeing vehicle near the intersection of Constitution Avenue & Villa Loma Drive. The driver, Izah Yates Jr., and Dante Anderson fled on foot but were apprehended by officers.

Izah Yates Jr. was charged with Vehicular Eluding, a felony, and is in custody at the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center.

Dante Anderson was arrested on outstanding felony warrants and is in custody at the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center.

No officers or civilians were injured during this incident. Izah Yates and Dante Anderson were not injured during this incident.

On the above date and time, CSPD Officers were dispatched the 2900 block of Geyser Drive reference an Assault. Officers were advised that the victim was currently at Memorial Hospital and redirected to 1400 E. Boulder Street to contact the victim. Officers learned that a male victim had spilled gasoline on his clothing and another male had lit the maleís clothing on fire causing significant burn injuries to the victim. The CSPD Assault Unit was notified and the investigation is ongoing at the time of this ETACS.

200 Block East Dale Street (alley)
Location
CSPD received a phone call stating that an adult male was in the alley passed out and turning blue. Officers arrived on scene and determined that the male had overdosed on heroin. One officer administered Narcan and then paramedics arrived and provided additional Narcan. The male was revived and transported to a local hospital, and is reported to be in good condition. The attending doctor stated that the male would have died if not for the Narcan.
