The CDC Emergency Preparedness and Response website is CDC’s primary source of information and resources for preparing for and responding to public health emergencies.

The Plan and Prepare web page has information on planning and preparing for natural and human caused disasters.

This local organization has information that can assist those with disabilities to prepare for an emergency.

2-1-1 is a free, confidential information and referral hotline connecting people in need with the health and human services they require. 

The Registry is a database designed to help First Responders identify people who may not be able to evacuate without assistance during an emergency.

  • NRCS - The National Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) provides landowners relief from imminent hazard to life and property causes by a natural disaster.
  • CSSP Coalition for the upper South Platte - CUSP has Firewise information and Flash Flood information and has experience working with individual home owners on fire/post fire projects including the Hayman Fire. Will help with Waldo Canyon Fire/Flood efforts.
