Victim: Deborah Robinson-Stoudemire

Case Description

The Victim: Deborah Anne Robinson-Stoudemire, 24 years old, discovered 11/30/1997, a victim of a fatal gun shot wound.

The Crime: Deborah was an aviation mechanic stationed at Ft Carson. She lived with her mother in the 3900 block of Harmony Drive. At approximately 2 am on 11/30/2097, Deborah's mother came home to find her daughter bleeding profusely and unresponsive. American Medical Response personnel pronounced her dead shortly after arriving on the scene. Deborah was the victim of a fatal gun shot wound.

The Investigation: Detectives interviewed all Deborah's known friends and associates, members of her unit at Ft. Carson, and neighbors. They interviewed anyone who may have seen or encountered Deborah over the previous days. Several search warrants were executed and numerous biological samples were collected for testing. However, no arrests were made and this investigation is continuing.


The Colorado Springs Police Department Homicide Cold Case Unit is currently responsible for approximately 90 unsolved homicide cases dating back to 1949. CSPD considers a case to be cold if it remains unsolved for more than one year.
