One of our goals is to educate companies about federal regulations (FMCSR). We do offer safety presentations concerning Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) and inspections on company trucks. Chapter 10: Motor Vehicles - Article 20: Regulating the Kinds and Classes of Traffic - 10.20.109:

Pursuant to Colorado Constitution article XX and Colorado Revised Statutes section 31-16-202, section 235 ("Minimum Standards for Commercial Vehicles") of the "Model Traffic Code for Colorado Municipalities", as promulgated, published and amended by the Colorado Department of Transportation, Staff Traffic and Safety Projects Branch, 4201 East Arkansas Avenue, Denver, CO 80222, is hereby adopted by reference. (Ord. 01-172)

 

There are many additional safety regulations that
must be complied with, such as tires, suspension, steering etc. All motor carriers should obtain a copy of the Federal Motor Carrier
Safety Regulations (FMCSR) to refer to, for all the safety regulations.
