PPRTA projects restarted

Pikes Peak Rural Transportation Authority (PPRTA) capital projects, except for Woodmen Road (funded primarily by federal stimulus dollars), were temporarily halted in late 2009 because of staffing reductions in City Engineering due to budget cuts. The City subsequently solicited bids from the private sector to provide program management for PPRTA projects. Nolte Associates, Inc. was selected and projects were restarted in mid-March. Approximately 50 percent of the projects on the City's PPRTA Capital Projects "A" list have been completed.

The list below represents the City's PPRTA capital projects that were temporarily halted and are now restarted. The projects are in the construction phase in 2010 unless otherwise noted.
