Do you have a dog that would be a great Bark Ranger? Or, do you simply love your park and want to reach out to pet owners?
Tuesday, July 22, 2014

We are looking for a few good dogs (and people) to launch our inaugural Bark Ranger program with the City of Colorado Springs Parks Department.  As a Bark Ranger you will help to positively reinforce great pet behavior in our parks and educate the public about the benefits of keeping dogs leashed and proper waste disposal.  Your Bark Ranger duties can take place during your regular walks in the park – no need to solicit, we simply request that you answer any inquiries from the public and make notes about the type of pet behavior observed during your hike.

Our first Bark Ranger informational meeting and training will occur at the end of the month.  If you are interested in learning more or participating please contact Dylan Voneiff at for additional information.

Please share this great program with your friends, members, neighbors and co-workers.  We look forward to seeing you on our trails!
