Missing Man Developmentally Disabled

The Colorado Springs Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in helping to locate Gerald Eugene WASINGER.  Mr. WASINGER is developmentally disabled with the mind of a child.  He cannot speak legibly and is described as friendly and outgoing.  He was last seen in the area of his home in the 3000 block of Illinois Ave. on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at about 1:30 PM. 
 

Gerald Eugene WASINGER is described as a white male, 6’-0” tall, weighing 160-180 lbs., with brown “shaggy” hair.  His chin is clean shaven; however, he has a couple of day’s growth of beard on each cheek.  He was last seen wearing a dark colored polo shirt with vertical white stripes.  He was possibly wearing a yellow baseball cap with the word “SECURITY” on it in brown letters.  He was also wearing dark colored pants and brown shoes. 

Mr. WASINGER cannot drive a vehicle.  He does have medical conditions.  His whereabouts are unknown and there is a concern for his safety.  There is no foul play suspected at this time.
