Nevada/Winters Intersection Improvements

Project Description: The Nevada Avenue and Winters Drive intersection configuration didn't meet current design standards, had been a high accident location and had an odd configuration. In 2003, the City applied for and received a competative, federally-funded Hazard Elimination and Safety grant from the Colorado Department of Transportation. Finished in fall 2007.

Benefits of the project, include improved safety for vehicles, better traffic flow, and reduced congestion.
