Fountain/Chelton
Intersection Improvements
Project
Description: The Fountain Boulevard and Chelton Road intersection
configuration doesn't meet current design standards and has been
a high accident location. In 2004, the City applied for and received
a competative, federally-funded Hazard Elimination and Safety
grant from the Colorado Department of Transportation. The project
is currently under design with right-of-way purchases still pending.
