Citizens Resource Group
Roles and Responsibilities
The role of the Citizens Resource Group (CRG) is to provide input
into the planning process and to help develop and assess recommendations
throughout the study. Although not a formal decision-making body,
the Citizens Resource Group will have a significant input into the
outcomes of the East-West Mobility Study. Specific roles and responsibilities
include:
· Provide community-based input into the planning process
· Ensure that all ideas and concerns are being considered
throughout the process
· Help disseminate project information to neighbors,
community organizations, businesses and affected interests
Membership
The Citizens Resource Group will be made up of representatives from
neighborhood/ homeowners associations, businesses, community groups
and the general public. The consultant team will work with interested
parties to ensure that all issues and interests are adequately represented
in the group. There is no specific number of Citizens Resource Group
members. The study team will design the specific format of the Citizens
Resource Group meetings to achieve the specific meeting outcomes given
the actual number of participants. These meetings will be highly interactive
workshops, focused on the topics outlined below. Members of the study
team will facilitate the Citizens Resource Group process.
While the CRG meetings will be open to the public and
anyone can attend any of the meetings, the process will work best
if the members commit the time to attend the majority of the meetings.
Each meeting will build on information presented at the previous meetings.
The nature of the study will require a high level of commitment from
the members.

The Citizens Resource Group will meet three times during Phases I
and II and three to five times during Phase III. The meetings will
normally occur in the evening.
