Burglary
Title
2800 Blk of National Place
Location
Officers were dispatched to the above address on a burglary alarm that showed multiple interior motion detector alerts.

Officer Rutter arrived on scene and made contact with the building Security Officer. As Officer Rutter was obtaining the initial information from the Security Officer, he observed the door handle, on one of the doors that leads into the business, rotated from a vertical position to a horizontal position.

Containment was set up and officers made entry into the business. As they entered they gave verbal commands to whoever was in the building to identify themselves. Officers were able to locate an adult male who was laying under a tractor and trying to avoid police contact.

The suspect was detained and placed into custody. Officers checked the area where the suspect had been laying and discovered a black in color pellet gun located within "reaching distance" of the suspect.

During the course of the investigation, it was discovered there was an additional male who had also broken into the building with the suspect but had left prior to police arrival.

The adult male in custody was transported to CJC on burglary charges. This case is still under investigation.

**Update** The second suspect was taken into custody on 04/12/15.
