Title
806 Querida Drive
Location
Earlier this month, the Colorado Springs Police Department began receiving numerous complaints about a local house located in the 800 block of Querida Drive. Neighbors complained that the residents of the house were selling marijuana to juveniles and having late night parties at the house. Because of the amount of the underage people going to the residence, detectives initiated an investigation into the tenants of the residence. During surveillance operations, detectives observed over 75 underage people stopping by the house, staying for a short time and then leaving. Detectives developed enough evidence to apply for a search warrant for the residence. On Saturday, June 13, 2015, MVNI detectives and members of both the Gang Unit and the Sand Creek Impact Team executed a search warrant on the residence. Detectives recovered enough evidence to support charges against the female tenant for distribution of marijuana and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. This investigation is on-going and charges are forthcoming for the female tenant. All of the juveniles who were contacted at the house were turned over to their guardians.
