Title
4000 block Hawks Lookout Lane
Location
On the above date and time Sand Creek Division officers responded to the area of Hawks Lookout Lane (Hunting Meadows Condominiums) to investigate several reports of shots heard in the area. Witnesses reported seeing an unidentified subject shooting out of a burgundy car, which drove away out of the area. Upon arrival, officers initiated contacts with pedestrians, which yielded information that a wanted party had just left the condominiums, possibly in a burgundy sedan. The officers recognized that the wanted party had a nexus to an address on University Drive, and responded to that area as part of their investigation. Officers saw a burgundy sedan matching the description of the suspect vehicle, and conducted a traffic stop on the same. A subsequent investigation on the actions of the occupants of the vehicle culminated on a handgun being seized from the vehicle, and one adult male being arrested on suspicion of Possession of Weapons by a Previous Offender. Another adult male was cited for traffic violations and being an accessory to a crime. Two juvenile females were cited for curfew violations.
