Title
3000 block of Academy Boulevard
Location
CSPD Officers responded to the 3000 block of Academy Boulevard regarding a possible shooting. The investigation revealed that 24 year-old, Jeremiah Arbuckle, was in his residence handling a firearm while under the influence of a controlled substance. The firearm discharged, with the bullet traveling out of the residence and into a neighbor’s window. The bullet just missed striking the neighbor, who at the time was walking outside by that window. Officers applied for a search warrant for the residence, which was granted by an on-call judge. A search of the residence yielded several firearms.

Arbuckle was arrested on charges of attempting to influence a public servant, possession of weapons by a previous offender, illegal discharge of a firearm, and prohibited use of weapons.

A 25 year-old female, Elizabeth Haynes, was also arrested for attempting to influence a public servant as a result of the investigation.
