Title
10750 Thunder Mountain Ave.
Location
On 1/16/15 at approximately 1:20pm, the School Resource Officer was notified that security was in contact with a male party who had entered the school without checking in. The investigation revealed that the male, identified as 35 year old Kelly Raftery, entered Pine Creek High School through the front doors of the school. He failed to sign in at the front security desk and instead entered a nearby classroom. There was a class in session at the time, and Raftery sat down in an empty desk. School security and the School Resource Officer were immediately notified and responded to the classroom and detained Raftery. It was determined that Raftery was in the school for approximately 4-5 minutes from the time he entered the front doors until he was detained. Raftery had no contact with any students during this time. Raftery appeared to be under the influence of an unknown alcoholic beverage. He stated he was there on legitimate business and did not have any intent to harm anyone at the school. After a search of his person and his vehicle, which was in the school parking lot, there was no indication that he posed a threat to students or staff. Raftery was cited for Interference with Staff and Students of an Educational Facility and trespassing. He was transported to the Criminal Justice Center on an unrelated traffic warrant.

Burglary
Title
3000 Block of Electra Dr
Location
On 01/14/15 an elderly victim contacted the Colorado Springs Police Department to report a 1st Degree Burglary that had occurred on Sunday 01/11/15.

The victim, a 75 year old female, said she had returned home from church, pulling into her garage. Before she could exit her vehicle or shut the garage door, she was confronted by a female pointing a gun at her through the closed driver's window.

The victim said the female was yelling at her, but she could not understand what the female was saying. The confrontation lasted only 30 seconds to a minute before the suspect walked out of the garage toward a white sedan parked in her driveway. The victim said the white sedan must have followed her into the driveway. The victim immediately shut the garage door and went in the house.

The victim looked out a window and saw the suspect vehicle was gone. The victim and her husband eventually talked with a family member who encouraged them to report the incident to the police.

The only suspect description was a white female with a silver gun. The vehicle was described as a white sedan. There were no injuries and nothing was taken.
