Title
8280 Voyager Pkwy (Howard Johnson)
Location
On 04/17/15 at 0125 hours patrol officers from Falcon Division (midnights) were dispatched to a motel in the 8200 block of Voyager Pkwy in regards to a trespassing in progress. On scene investigation found that 4 people (2 men/2 women) had snuck into a motel room looking for a dry/warm place to get out of the weather.

One subject, Geordan Morris, after initially lying about his name, was found to have several warrants; Robbery, Escape, & Drugs/FTC. Mr. Morris was also found with a handgun and suspected narcotics on his person. The robbery warrant was recently issued as part of a Manitou Springs Police Department case in which Mr. Morris robbed his own family at gunpoint. It appears that the handgun recovered was the same one used in the robbery in Manitou Springs last month.

Mr. Morris was booked at the Criminal Justice Center on the outstanding warrants and an assortment of new charges; Criminal Impersonation, Felon in Possession of a Weapon, and Narcotics Possession. The Manitou Springs Police Department was advised of the arrest of Mr. Morris and the handgun recovery.
