On 01/16/13 at approximately 6:51PM officers responded to Bingo World, 272 S Academy Blvd, regarding a male who had been robbed in the parking lot.
Officers contacted the victim, a 74 year old male, who said he was walking from his car toward Bingo World when he was confronted by three suspects and hit in the head with a gun. The victim fell down and when he looked up the suspect was pointing a gun at him demanding all his money.
The victim refused to give the suspect any money. The suspects took off running west when the victim refused to give them any money.
The area was checked, however, the suspects were not located. The victim suffered a laceration to his face as a result of being struck with the gun. He was treated and released at a local hospital.
The suspects were described as follows:
Suspect 1 is described as a black male in his twenties wearing a dark green, possibly camoflage, jacket. This male was holding the gun.
The other two suspects were described as black males in their twenties wearing dark hoodies.

The victim was alone, sitting in his car at the drive-in restaurant. Two black males of average height, wearing black hoodies approached him. One of the suspects produced a black semi-automatic pistol and demanded money. The victim said he had no money. The second suspect opened the driver's door, reached across the victim, and grabbed a cell phone. As he did so, the victim pushed the suspect, but the bandit with a gun punched the victim in the eye. The suspects then fled on foot toward the east. Officers flooded the area and a K9 unit assisted. Containment was set quickly, but made no contact was made with the robbers.

The suspect was described as a black or Hispanic male, approximately 5'8" tall, medium build, wearing a long, dark puffy jacket, a black hoodie, blue jeans, black sneakers and a black ski mask on his face. The suspect was armed with a black colored semi-auto handgun.

On January 15, 2013 a lone suspect robbed the Legacy Bank at 1580 E. Cheyenne Mountain Blvd. No weapon was displayed and the were no injuries. The suspect is a white male in his late 20s to early 30s with brown hair, approximately 5'9" tall and a thin to medium build. He wore a dark colored jacket and a knit cap. He was last seen leaving the bank in a gray 4-door compact with an out-of-state license plate. The Robbery Unit responded to the scene for the investigation, which is ongoing.

On 01/14/2013 at 0711 hours, patrol officers from the Stetson Hills Division responded to 4410 Royal Pine Drive/Lifetime Fitness for a suspicious vehicle that matched the description of a vehicle involved in breaking into a vehicle in the gym parking lot. Upon the arrival of officers, they stopped a Tan Ford F-150 truck with the driver identified as William Harper. A check of the truck resulted in the discovery of numerous items of stolen property. The vehicle was reported as stolen out of Pueblo Colorado. Stetson Hills Property Detectives assisted in the investigation and as of 01/15/2013 approximately 9 cases have been linked to Mr. Harper. Investigation has also resulted in a joint investigation with the Pueblo Police Department with Mr. Harper being linked to stolen vehicles and multiple car burglaries in Pueblo. On 01/15/2013, CSPD Investigators were able to link Mr. Harper to property missing from the Pueblo County Sheriffs Department jurisdiction. Mr. Harper appeared to be driving from Pueblo to Colorado Springs to commit the crimes and then drive back to Pueblo. Additional cases are expected to be linked to Mr. Harper as the investigation continues.

On the above date and time the Colorado Springs Police Department investigated a reported kidnapping. It was reported that a suspect forcefully entered a home in the 900 block of North 19th street and forced a female victim to leave with him. It was reported that the suspect had a gun and knife when he entered the home.
It was learned the victim and suspect have been in a relationship for approximately two years. The Domestic Violence Unit responded to assist with the investigation. The investigation revealed the suspect drove the victim to an apartment located in the 3600 block of Airport Rd. The victim was found to be safe and she suffered no known serious bodily injury.
As the investigation progressed it became less clear as to whether or not the victim willingly went with the suspect. The suspect was located and charged with First Degree Burglary and Felony Menacing. The suspect is identified as 42 year old Colorado Springs resident David Crossley. The investigation is ongoing.

On 01/14/2013, 1214 hrs., Falcon Division officers were dispatched to a townhome in the 1400 block of Ledge Rock Ter. to investigate a home invasion. Officers contacted the victim and determined that a single suspect had entered her garage, while she was in it, walked up to her and punched her in the mouth. The suspect then left the area southbound. Officers followed the footprints to a wooded area behind the townhomes on Territory Tr. where a K-9 was called out. K-9 tracked the footprints to a storage facility in the 4900 block of List Dr., where evidence showed the suspect entered the passenger side of a vehicle and left the area in the vehicle. Suspect described as an older white male, 5 ft. 11 in., 170 lbs., wearing a blue hooded jacket and green pants. As far as officers could determine, the suspect was not armed with any type of weapon.
