11/19/14 1022 hrs., Officers were dispatched to the Walgreens, 350 N. Union Bl. to investigate a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers contacted one female victim. The investigation revealed the female was at a trailer in the 200 block of Swope Av. when a female came in and accused her of messing with her. The female then assaulted her and cut her with an unknown instrument. The victim received small lacerations to her hand, arm and leg. She also received multiple contusions from the assault. The female suspect left the scene and has not been located. The victim suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

On the above date and time officers were dispatched to the above address to investigate a shoplift. Upon arrival, officers were told the suspects, a male and female, left the store and the male may be armed with a handgun. The male suspect indicated he had a handgun and motioned to his back area. The male suspect fled the area in a silver vehicle. The female suspect was apprehended on scene and was later identified as a 50 year old Colorado Springs resident, Cynthia Thompson. Cynthia Thompson was charged with Aggravated Robbery. The male suspect was later identified as 33 year old Colorado Springs resident Joseph Foster. Officers obtained an arrest warrant for Mr. Foster and as of this time he has not been located. If you know where Mr. Foster is please call 444-7000 or Crime stoppers at 634-STOP.

An injury accident occurred at the above intersection please avoid the area. The Major Accident Unit is responding as well as barricades. It is anticipated the intersection will be effected for some time. Currently north bound academy is closed at airport. Three parties have been transported with unknown injuries. One of the vehicles involved was reported stolen. The initial investigation revealed the suspect failed to stop for a red light and was struck by a vehicle that was traveling through the intersection. The suspect vehicle was then struck again by another vehicle that was traveling through the intersection. A total of four vehicles were damaged. The driver of the suspect vehicle is identified as 22 year old Colorado Springs resident Dustin Harvey. Mr. Harvey has been arrested and charged with DUID and Vehicular Assault. At least one person in one of the other vehicles has serious bodily injury as a result of the crash. The investigation is ongoing.

On this date the Colorado Springs Police Department issued an ANS message to a 3 block radius around the address of 1336 N Corona Street to conduct Community Notification regarding Sexually Violent Predator, 32 year old Jerrell Evans. 11/17/14 AT ABOUT 7:28pm Officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of E. Van Buren St. regarding a stabbing. The subsequent investigation revealed that an ex-boyfriend had cornered his ex-girlfriend and her current boyfriend in a vehicle. A confrontation then led to a knife fight between the males resulting in minor injuries to both. They were treated by medical personnel who determined there was no Serious Bodily Injury. The suspect, Bill Maier 10-19-59, was charged with Second Degree Assault and Harassment and transported to CJC.

On 11/17/14, at about 4:30pm, Officers in the Falcon Division were dispatched to investigate a possible burglary in progress in the 800 block of Pulpit Rock Circle South.
As Officer Mathis and Cruz-Rodgers were arriving on scene they observed two suspects matching the description getting into a vehicle. The officers made contact with the two individuals. Almost immediately the driver of the vehicle ran from the scene. Officers were able to take the second suspect into custody without incident.
A large perimeter was set and K9 Officer Kelly attempted a canine search for the second suspect. Items believed to be belonging to the second suspect were located but the suspect is still outstanding.
The investigation is continuing.

on 11/17/14 at approximately 1943hrs, CSPD Officers were dispatched to an apartment on reports of shots fired outside. Upon the initial investigation, no victims or suspects were located.

Officers were eventually contacted by residents in a first floor apartment, reporting that three rounds had been shot through their outside window into the apartment from the parking lot, narrowly missing one of the occupants and lodging in the walls of the apartment.

No one was injured. No suspect or vehicle information is currently available. The investigation is ongoing.

Stetson Hills Officers S. Ferguson & B. Banuelos were dispatched to an armed robbery at 4020 Kohlerís Apothecary pharmacy (call number 14503423) and while in route, made contact with a suspicious male suspect. The male by description, fit the general description of the robbery suspect. The male was carrying a black duffel bag and was walking in the 4100 block of Palmer Park, which is a short distance away from the robbery location. After making contact with the suspect, it was determined that he was likely not involved in the robbery but was in possession of a sawed off shotgun that was illegal to possess. Thirty year old Terrance Alan Duran of Colorado Springs was arrested and charged and with one Felony Five count of possession of a dangerous and deadly weapon and one Misdemeanor Two count of carrying a concealed weapon. Duran said he found the weapon and it did not belong to him. No additional information at this time. No suspects were located and no arrests were made on the aforementioned robbery call.

A city bus #609 was driven S/B Academy Blvd and stopped at a bus stop for passengers and had its flashing lights on for the stop. A 2005 Hyundai 4dr. was driven into the back of the stopped bus. The bus remained operational for service but the car was towed and the driver transported to a hospital with minor injuries. No one was injured on the bus which had two passengers.
