On 11/22/2014 at approximately 4:45pm, the Colorado Springs Police Department was notified of a home invasion in the area of Bonfoy Ave/Union Blvd. The investigation revealed that the suspect had entered the residence, assaulted an occupant, and taken items before leaving. The suspect was gone upon officers arrival. The suspect was described as an approximately 30 year old black male, with a medium build, wearing all black clothing and armed with a handgun. The investigation is continuing.

On Saturday November 22nd, 2014, approx. 12:00AM, Officers of the Colorado Springs Police Dept. Falcon Div. responded to the Dominoís Pizza, 5168 N. Academy Blvd regarding a robbery. Upon arrival officers were informed that an employee was delivering pizzas near 5030 El Camino Dr. approx. 11:00PM, 11-21-14. The pizza delivery person was knocked to the ground. The unknown suspect took the pizza bag containing pizzas and other food items. The dominoís employee was not injured. The unknown suspect left the area in an unknown direction. Sand Creek Officers were dispatched to the area of Airport Rd. and S. Academy Blvd. for an auto pedestrian accident. The investigation revealed that a female pedestrian attempted to cross S. Academy Blvd., within the cross walk, against the cross walk signal. The female was able to cross the southbound lanes of S. Academy and the left and center lanes of northbound, S. Academy Blvd. when she was struck by a northbound motor vehicle that was traveling in the right through lane. The female pedestrian suffered from a compound fracture of the right femur, and was treated at Memorial Hospital Central for her injuries. The female pedestrian was the proximate cause of the accident. Charges are pending. Northbound lanes of S. Academy Blvd at Airport Rd. were shut down temporarily during the accident investigation.

At the above date and time the SRO at Coronado High School witnessed a fight between two juvenile female students. When the officer attempted to separate them they continued to strike each other and the officer as he tried to stop the fight. At that point in time the officer struck one of the females in the lower face area, stopping the altercation. Both students were arrested for City Fighting. There were no injuries to the parties involved, and the parents of both juviniles responded. The female students were suspended. The SRO's supervisor responded and oversaw the investigation.

Location
Officers were dispatched to an apartment complex in the 100 block of S. Academy Blvd to investigate a personal robbery. Officers contacted two victims who reported that when they parked their vehicle in the parking lot of the apartment complex they were approached by three unknown males. Two of the males approached the female that was sitting in the passenger seat of the vehicle while the third male approached the male that was sitting in the driverís seat. Two of the males were armed with handguns and they began demanding money from the victims. When the victims did not immediately respond to the suspectís demands, one of the suspects on the passenger side opened the passenger side door and pulled the female out of the vehicle. The same suspect then forcefully took the femaleís purse from her. The suspect on the driver side of the vehicle became involved in a physical disturbance with the male victim, but did not take anything from him.

The suspects were described as three Hispanic males who were all wearing dark colored clothing. They left the area running southbound through the parking lot. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the suspects.
No injuries were reported.

On September 23, 2014 at 11:04 AM, two unknown suspects robbed the Wells Fargo Bank at 4151 N. Academy Blvd. No firearms were shown, but one of the suspects wielded a large screwdriver during the holdup. When the robbery was completed, the suspects got into a stolen car, which they only drove a short distance before abandoning the vehicle and switching cars.

Since September 23rd, investigators from the CSPD Robbery Unit have worked diligently to gather evidence to identify the men responsible for this crime. One of the suspects in this case has been identified as 29 year-old Quinterrius Sharrod Lundy of Colorado Springs. He is currently being held in the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center, on this and other charges.

This case is believed to be connected to additional recent robberies in the area. Details of those cases are not available at this time. The investigation is ongoing; more arrests are anticipated and will be announced as they occur. Due to the in-depth nature of the investigation, no other details will be made available at this time.

11/19/14 1022 hrs., Officers were dispatched to the Walgreens, 350 N. Union Bl. to investigate a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers contacted one female victim. The investigation revealed the female was at a trailer in the 200 block of Swope Av. when a female came in and accused her of messing with her. The female then assaulted her and cut her with an unknown instrument. The victim received small lacerations to her hand, arm and leg. She also received multiple contusions from the assault. The female suspect left the scene and has not been located. The victim suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

On the above date and time officers were dispatched to the above address to investigate a shoplift. Upon arrival, officers were told the suspects, a male and female, left the store and the male may be armed with a handgun. The male suspect indicated he had a handgun and motioned to his back area. The male suspect fled the area in a silver vehicle. The female suspect was apprehended on scene and was later identified as a 50 year old Colorado Springs resident, Cynthia Thompson. Cynthia Thompson was charged with Aggravated Robbery. The male suspect was later identified as 33 year old Colorado Springs resident Joseph Foster. An injury accident occurred at the above intersection please avoid the area. The Major Accident Unit is responding as well as barricades. It is anticipated the intersection will be effected for some time. Currently north bound academy is closed at airport. Three parties have been transported with unknown injuries. One of the vehicles involved was reported stolen. The initial investigation revealed the suspect failed to stop for a red light and was struck by a vehicle that was traveling through the intersection. The suspect vehicle was then struck again by another vehicle that was traveling through the intersection. A total of four vehicles were damaged. The driver of the suspect vehicle is identified as 22 year old Colorado Springs resident Dustin Harvey. Mr. Harvey has been arrested and charged with DUID and Vehicular Assault. At least one person in one of the other vehicles has serious bodily injury as a result of the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
