The Rocky Mountain Accreditation Network (RMAN) and
Taser International welcome you to the Fall 2007 CALEA Conference in
Colorado Springs. You’re invited to attend “Downtown Colorado Springs
Night” on Wednesday, November 14 starting at the Phantom Canyon Brewing
Company at 2 East Pikes Peak Ave. Appetizers and non-alcoholic
beverages will be free, but as you can imagine, locally brewed beer and
a full cash bar is available for your sampling pleasure.
Once you’ve enjoyed your start at Phantom Canyon,
continue on downtown and see what Downtown Colorado Springs has to
offer. We’ve arranged discounts to over 35 restaurants and retail
establishments for CALEA Conference attendees. You can take in a meal
at the Il Vicino, Fujiama, Jose Muldoon’s, or one of the other many
restaurants. You can then do some early holiday shopping at Colorado
unique stores such as Mt. Tejon Colorado Décor and Gifts, Terra Verde
Clothing and Gifts, or Mountain Chalet for all your outdoor and climbing
gear. If the mood strikes, Josh and John’s Ice Cream or Mrs. Field’s
Cookies would be happy to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Free bus transportation will leave from in front of
the Broadmoor Hall starting at 5:45 PM and will run continuously through
the evening to Phantom Canyon. The last bus will return from downtown
at 10:30 PM. You’re free to stay and enjoy the downtown nightlife as
long as you like however transportation will not be provided after 10:30
PM. There is ample covered parking within 2 blocks of the Phantom
Canyon Brewing Company for a minimal fee if you wish to drive.
We ask that you bring your CALEA Conference name
badge to identify yourself to the downtown shops to receive your
discount. If you’re unable to participate in Downtown Colorado Springs
Night, the discount will be available at most of the businesses for the
duration of the CALEA Conference.
