Please find below a narrative of the Auto Center scope of work involved in this remodel.
" The waste oil tank is to be relocated to allow for visual inspection between the tank and fence as well as providing the required separation from the building.
" The filter bin within the cage is to be relocated to allow for relocation of the previously mentioned waste oil tank.
" The second filter bin located outside the cage is to be removed.
" 4 Bollards are being added to provide proper protection to the waste oil tank
Auto Center (Lube & Tire Mounting Area)
" Within the service bay, the waste oil tank is being relocated to allow for installation of protective bollards.
" As a result of the tank being relocated, the waste oil lines and venting are being revised.
" The tire changer will also be relocated to allow for relocation of the waste oil tank.
Auto Center (Lube Pit)
" A second eyewash is being installed, the water supply will come from within the mechanical room.

1) No new tank installation and no tank removals.
2) Waste Oil tank within the autocenter is be relocated within the autocenter. Piping and venting will tie into existing distribution systems; and vents through roof. OK
3) Exterior Cage: Waste Oil tank is being located to comply with current code so that it is 5 ft away from structure and filter bin moved a bit to accomodate the waste oil tank within the cage.
No impact to any existing hazardous materials: no increase, no decrease. Per Mr. Brown, architect, modifications to comply with current code. |
