||FYI||REQUIRED INSPECTION. An inspection of the event is required. The inspection shall be conducted prior to the start of the event. The inspection is scheduled at the time of fee payment and plan pick-up. This is done by visiting the Office of the Fire Marshal at 375 Printers Parkway, Colorado Springs, CO, 80920 a minimum of two (2) weeks prior to the event start date.
FAILURE TO PAY FEES AND SCHEDULE INSPECTIONS IN TIME, MAY RESULT IN A DELAYED START OR DISALLOWANCE OF THE EVENT TO OCCUR.
Provide the following information when scheduling the inspection:
1. The desired time of the inspection. All displays, stages, vendors and other structures and/or participants must be set-up.
2. The location at which the CSFD Inspector shall meet the event coordinator.
3. A phone number at which the event coordinator can be reached, at any time during the duration of the event.|

However upon measuring it as well as adding up segments along the exiting path, the exiting is approximately 280 feet and not 241 feet as indicated. The maximum exiting distance for a sprinklered building is 250 feet. Please modify the plans accordingly or provide clarification as to how the 241 foot number is being derived. |
|Disapproved||This exhibit requires smoke detection. Please provide the ata sheets for the smoke alarms being used as well as a ceiling plan showing the locations of the smoke alarms. During our initial site visit, it was noted that the building didn't have smoke detection and that there are smoke alarms available that may be interconnected wireless. |
