|Disapproved||*****(STANDARD COMMENT 42) DISAPPROVED COMMENTS:
The following information and/or corrections are needed prior to conducting a full plan review. PLEASE RESPOND IN WRITING ON LETTERHEAD TO EACH OF THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
1. Water Supply was not reduced by 10% as required in the hydraulic calculations - the water supply curve shall be accompanied by a secondary parallel curve under which the demand point must fall!
2. Building Type I - you have 3 remote areas, and you suddenly change the water supply infomration on the 3rd calculations. If you are calculated all the buildings back to Hydrant A, why not use the same hydraulic information for that node (3000 gpm @ 20 psi residual, 75 psi static) for all the calculations?
If you are going to calc to the same point for all buildings, use the same water supply information for all the calculations.
If you are going to use different water supplies, then you must use the worst case water supply information for each water supply, then calc to the point of conection to that water main using the longest fire line for the building type, etc.
Also review the disapproved plans for additional written comments prior to submittal of new plans.
|Disapproved||(STANDARD COMMENT 44) CONTRACTOR LICENSING:
