The City of Colorado Springs Revenue & Collection Division oversees Sales Tax, Accounts Receivable, and Stormwater Financial Services to include Stormwater customer accounts as well as storm drainage fees.

OUR SERVICES:

Sales Tax:

• Collection of all City sales tax monies
• Ensuring businesses comply with the Sales and Use Tax Code
• Auditing businesses to ensure proper reporting and remitting of tax revenue
• Conducting sales and use tax classes to inform the public of the regulations governing the collection of sales and use tax
• Internal and external reporting of sales tax collections

Accounts Receivable:

• Establishing policies and procedures to ensure that all City departments are properly collecting and depositing revenue due to the City
• Ensuring the accurate reporting of these items to various internal departments

Stormwater Customer Financial Services:

• Ensuring the accuracy of monthly Stormwater Enterprise billing
• Monitoring the collection of Stormwater monies and ensuring compliance with existing City ordinances
• Mailing address for Stormwater Customer Payments

Storm Drainage Fees:

• Coordinating drainage fee collections and reimbursements authorized by the Drainage Board and facilitated by the Development Review Board
