The Southwest subarea of downtown is located between I-25 and South Cascade Avenue, and abuts the city center. The area traditionally provided the industrial support for the region, and the historic fabric has continually changed over the decades. The Southwest area contains the City’s earliest railroad depot, as well as warehouses and a 1950’s era diner.
