This house is representative of the small frame houses of working and middle class families erected in Colorado Springs during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Representative architectural feature of the late Victorian era include the gabled roof with overhanging eaves, lap siding and decorative shingles, tall double-hung sash windows with architrave lintel trim, and porch supports with decorative brackets.
