This house is an excellent example of the Classic Cottage style, as reflected in the hipped roof with flared, overhanging eaves, hipped roof dormers, windows with architrave lintel trim, and porch with classical column supports. Other notable features include the sash and transom windows with decorative leaded glass, narrow lap siding, stone foundation, bay window and door with oval light.
Built sometime between 1901 and 1907, the earliest known resident was Arthur C. Dick, a motorman for the Colorado Springs Rapid Transit Railway. Locally significant.
