The Park Manor Apartments represent the period of high-rise residential construction in the 1960's. An example of Modern style, it is marked by the extensive use of balconies capitalizing on the view to the west of the Front Range.

Efforts to build on this site began in the mid-1950's, when Robert Padgett of Padgett Realty sought approval of variances for a condominium-style building. The individual units were proposed for individual ownership. However, actual construction as an apartment building began in 1964 by Craig Weaver.

Denver architect Roland Wilson designed the six-story structure. Locally significant.
