This house is significant as part of the area developed by the Russian émigré Benjamin Lefkowsky, who subdivided the area, laid out the streets, and had houses constructed which took advantage of the spectacular views of Monument Valley and the mountains to the west. The house is also a well-crafted example of the Mediterranean Revival style. Contributing architectural features include the tile roof, stucco walls, central entrance tower with inset porch, multi-light windows, including some with balconets, arched vents and window and the patio with the wrought iron balustrade. Other features include the triple window, the rear balcony and the under house garage.
Despite its 1927 construction date, the City directories do not show an occupant until 1931, when R. C. Jones was listed as a resident. National Register eligible.
