This house is representative of the Free Classic variety of Queen Anne style dwellings popular during the late 19th and early 20th century in the United States. The Queen Anne style is reflected in the asymmetrical composition, decorative shingles, and variety of windows, and the Free Classical associations include the classical columns on the porch instead of turned posts as porch supports, and the balustrade does not have turned balusters.
Built around 1904, the first known resident was Mrs. Laura C. Hull. Locally significant.
