This building is associated with the history of religious organizations in Colorado Springs, having been built at the end of the 19th century. The congregation, organized in 1885, originally held their services in Swedish and remained at this location until 1958.
The wood frame building is regarded as Gothic Revival in style, with steeply pitched gables, pointed arch windows, gabled entrance hood and corner tower topped by a projecting spire. Built sometime before 1895, an associated building at the rear was added between 1900 and 1907. Locally significant.
