Voters approved city retention of $1.2 million in the April 2009 election. When the final audited numbers were complete, $422,571 in additional funds was identified. The estimated $2.16 refund will be processed according to past practices. 

Timing

The refund will be applied to active Colorado Springs Utilities electric customer accounts (as defined by the refund criteria) Sept. 5 through Oct. 3, 2009.
