Project Status: Under construction
The section from Pikes Peak Ave to the Pikes Peak Greenway encompasses planning and acquisition of land necessary to complete the southern end of the Shooks Run Trail. This difficult and complex segment of trail will provide a long awaited link, creating the "circle of trail" around downtown. This planning process is just getting underway and the design is nearly completed.

The extension of the Shooks Run Trail under Pikes Peak Ave is now complete. This project was accomplished in partnership with the proposed Shooks Run SCIP Project.
