Applications will not be accepted until further notice.  We do not anticipate holding an entry level firefighter exam in 2009.  

*PLEASE NOTE:  While you must be EMT-B certified from any state or National Registry at the time of your application, you MUST be certified in the state of Colorado at the time of final employment offers.  Out-of-state certified individuals must apply to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Emergency Medical Services Division.  We recommend candidates start this process immediately as the process can be rather lengthy. 

** Only a CPAT licensed by the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF) and the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) will be accepted.  The   Colorado Springs Fire Department requires candidates to have a valid CPAT at the time of testing and at the time of final employment offers.
