Full-Time Positions
The majority of our full-time positions involve maintaining the infrastructure of parks, trails and the urban forest. Position duties include:
Maintenance of parks and facilities; Construction and renovation of facilities; Urban forest maintenance and programming; Planning, design and construction of parks and trails; Administrative support; Programming in Recreation; and Natural Resources and Museum.

Hourly Employment Positions
The Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department employs individuals to supplement the regular workforce in special program areas and in seasonal maintenance positions.
In March of each year, upcoming spring and summer positions are posted at the PR&CS Department, 1401 Recreation Way, (719) 385-6504. They are also listed under the Hourly Employment link. Applications can be picked up at the 1401 Recreation Way location.
