Engine 7 was one of several companies that began existence as the second company at Station 2. Initially put into service in August of 1956, Engine 7 didn't move into its own quarters until February of 1964.
Station 7 began aerial service on January 30, 1969, and continued until October 1984 when the aerial was transferred to Station 8.
Between 1979 and 1984, Station 7 was home to 3 companies simultaneously; Engine 7, Truck 7 and Rescue 7. During this period, Station 7 won the well-deserved nickname "Animal House".
Today, the station houses Engine 7 and Squad 7.
