Lisa Bigelow
Director of Budget/Economic Development
Mrs. Bigelow serves as the Director of the City of Colorado Springs Budget Department. Prior to joining the City of Colorado Springs Budget Department in 1994, she worked for El Paso County Budget and other Departments for 11 years. Of the 23 years in government service, she has 17 years of experience in government finance and budget. Her current responsibilities with the City of Colorado Springs include managing the annual city budget development process, infrastructure finance, multiyear revenue and expenditure forecasting, debt management, special district management and fiscal impact analysis. She also oversees the City?s economic development activities.
She received her Bachelor?s of Arts in Public Administration from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio in 1983. She completed her Master?s Degree in Public Administration at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in 1991.
A resident of Colorado Springs since 1983, she is married to Gene Bigelow and has two children, Stephanie and Geno.
