Fire Department Promotions
Mayor Steve Bach administered the oath of office for a new deputy fire chief and four other fire department members at a promotional ceremony at the Colorado Springs Fire Department Complex on February 3. Steven E. Dubay was installed as deputy fire chief. Mayor Bach also swore in: Driver Engineer John T. Gleason, Lieutenant. Jeffrey A. Baird, Captain David W Broch, Battalion Chief Derek R. Wheeler.
Stormwater fees update
The first batch of property tax statements were mailed on January 17, 2012. Delinquent Stormwater Fees that remain unpaid will appear as a line item on the property tax statement. Click here for more information.
Weather Updates
City offices are open Friday, February 3.
The Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum's Friday evening reception is canceled. The traveling exhibit "Abraham Lincoln: A Man of His Time, A Man for All Times" will open to the public on Saturday as scheduled.
