Welcome to the City of Colorado Springs Human Resources site. We are located in the heart of downtown at 30 South Nevada Avenue, Suite 105. Colorado Springs is a growing city that is home to a diverse population of over 366,000 people.
With over 2,400 City employees, the City of Colorado Springs is among the community's largest employers. The City is organized under the provisions of the Colorado Constitution and has a Council/Manager form of government. All nine Council members, including the Mayor, are elected to their positions.
Reporting directly to the City Council are the City Manager, Utilities Director, City Attorney, City Auditor, and City Clerk.
By serving the needs of the public, City employees have a great impact on the community. Offering more than basic services, they help maintain Colorado Springs' high quality of life.
