The Communications Department provides public information, SpringsTV programming, and media relations.

Essential services of the Communications Department :

• Writes and distributes all media releases concerning the City
• Handles all media requests for members of the City team and the Mayor
• In part, assists in overseeing special programs such as the Spirit of the Springs
• Offers media training to all staff and assists any City members with media and/or communication needs upon request
• Coordinates all Town Hall Meetings and Media Conferences 
• Oversees all internal and external communication - with employees, citizens and media
