The City of Colorado Springs was named the 2010 National League of Cities NBC-LEO winner for promoting and supporting diversity. Co-chairs of the event were in Washington D.C. to accept the award along with Councilmember Purvis. The award will be presented to City Council at the March 23, 2010 Formal Council Meeting. In 2010 Everybody Welcome will become a week long celebration of diversity in Colorado Springs. For more details visit www.cospdiversityforum.org.

 

Colorado Springs continues to be a leader in many areas.  Two weeks ago the city was named in the top ten Most Wired Cities by Forbes.com.
