Project Description: Bijou Street Bridge over Monument Creek/Railroad Tracks and Corporate Drive Extension/Bridge.

The Intergovernmental Agreement between the City and Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) allowed for the incorporation of these two projects in CDOT's I-25 Design/Build contract. The Corporate Drive project connected Nevada Ave. and Corporate Dr. including a bridge structure. The Bijou Bridge project replaced the bridge structure over Monument Creek and the Union Pacific Railroad including related City street improvements.

Project Cost: $10.3M (2005 = $0.1M; 2006 = $2.1M + $8M from CDOT (per Powers-Academy IGA); 2007 = $0.1M).

Project Schedule: City review of CDOT plans - 2005-2007; CDOT construction - 2005-2007; City reimbursement to CDOT - 2006.
