Deputy Chief Richard K. Brown

Deputy Chief of Operations

Chief Brown started his career with the Colorado Springs Fire Department in 1980. He worked up through the ranks from firefighter, paramedic, lieutenant, captain, battalion chief, to Deputy Chief of Operations. He worked assignments in the Operations Division, Medical Division, and Training Division.  Formal education includes a master's degree in organizational leadership from Regis University. Numerous Colorado Springs Fire Department awards include the Medal of Distinguished Service Award.  Chief Brown has been married to his wife Lori since 1991 and has one daughter, Madison.
