All delinquent stormwater accounts (unless already on an approved payment plan with the City) were turned over to A-1 Collections on Thursday, April 29, 2010. All future inquiries and payments need to be directed to A-1 at (719) 634-3753 (Terri Hale or Marie Kim) or by email at kmgau@aol.com.
On December 8, 2009 City Council directed staff to end the Stormwater Enterprise fee effective January 1, 2010. This means the last payment due from customers is for the fourth quarter of 2009. Customers who paid ahead to cover 2010 fees will be receiving a refund of those future payments by check in late January to early February 2010. Refund checks will not be processed for accounts with a balance of under $1. Citizens with a balance of under $1 can request a special check by writing to:
