Volunteer Sign-Up for September 2012
Bicycle/Trail Traffic Counts
Bicycle/Pedestrian/Trail Traffic Counting Volunteer Opportunities on Saturday, September 22 and September 25-27, 2012.
The City of Colorado Springs is conducting bicycle and pedestrian trail counts in order to get more information about the current usage of the trails and bicycle lanes in the city. The City’s count program will allow us to collect valuable data to measure the use of our bicycle transportation system by bicyclists, pedestrians and other users.
To volunteer for a specific location, click on that location and you will be directed to an online sign-up form hosted by Sign Up Genius, where you can select the time slot(s) you want to volunteer for.
To make it easier for volunteers, you may choose Saturday, September 22 or one of three weekdays (Tuesday, September 25; or Wednesday, September 26 or Thursday, September 27).
Once you have volunteered for a count station and time slot, please download and print the count forms package under "Downloads." Please select the download package for the specific count station(s) you are volunteering for as the packages have been customized for each location.
