English Oak-Quercus robur
The English oak is a large, long-lived deciduous tree that grows 82 to114 feet tall with a wide spread crown of rugged branches and very short leaves. It works well as a shade tree. Flowering takes place in mid spring and acorns ripen by the following autumn. Plant an English oak in full sun with moist, fertile, well-drained soil. Click here for more information.
