Case Description File Number: 57-08228 The Crime: On October 10, 1957 at approximately 10:50 a.m. a call was received by the E&E Ambulance Service to respond to 1310 LaSalle St. on a woman down. Colorado Springs Police and Fire Department also responded. Upon their arrival, fire fighters located an adult female, identified as Dorothy Beazell, age 50, lying on the kitchen floor. Ms. Beazell's husband, a local doctor and a nurse attempted medical intervention with the victim prior to the arrival of first responders. Without success, the nurse made the calls for emergency assistance. The victim was pronounced at the scene. |
