School Park Usage Requests
To better facilitate school activities that take place in City parks (i.e. year-end fun days, field trips, physical education classes, special school celebrations, etc.). We would like to request that you inform your teachers they need to contact us at least two weeks prior to the activity.
Keep in mind, school usage requests must coincide with school hours, should be only for the students/staff/chaperones of the school, and have minimal impact to the park and/or the neighborhood surrounding the park. (i.e. Afterschool activities, intramural competitions, track/crosscountry meets, school fundraisers, and weekends are not considered school use requests.)

Your request allows us to schedule maintenance to not interfere with your school activity. This request does not give you exclusive use of the park and is not considered a reservation. All City parks are shared-use facilities. Please note that some park pavilions are available by reservation only and are not to be used except by the person/group who reserved and paid for the permit. Additionally the park you choose to use may not have had sufficient water, resulting in poor turf quality, and not all parks have restrooms/ port-a-johns available.
As a school usage request, we ask you and your students follow park rules and thoroughly pick-up the area before leaving.
