Full-Time Positions
The majority of our full-time positions involve maintaining the infrastructure of parks, trails and the urban forest. Position duties include maintenance of parks and facilities; construction and renovation of facilities; urban forest maintenance and programming; planning, design and construction of parks and trails; administrative support; programming in recreation; and natural resources and museum.

Hourly Employment Positions
The Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department employs individuals to supplement the regular workforce in special program areas and in seasonal maintenance positions.
Hourly Employment Applications are available on-line (http://www.springsgov.com/Files/Seasonalapplication_ParksandRec_120315.pdf) at or may be picked up at the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department Administrative offices located at 1401 Recreation Way, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80905 between the hours of 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. (noon), Monday-Friday. Return completed applications to the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Administrative office.
All persons accepting employment with the City of Colorado Springs must successfully complete a pre-employment drug test and background check.
