Salary and Benefits

Current salary for new hire police recruit is $3,567 monthly. Recruits progress to Police Officer upon successful completion of the academy.  Each year, on the anniversary of their training academy graduation, police officers receive an increase until reaching the top step.

The starting salary for those applicants who qualify for a lateral position is $4,854 monthly.
