Victim: Janet Conrad

The Victim: Janet Conrad, 34 years of age

The Crime: On 12/3/76 at approximately 4:30 p.m. Mrs. Janet Conrad was found murdered in a linen room on the 10th floor of the Antlers Hotel on Cascade Blvd.  Mrs. Conrad, 34 years of age, was a housekeeper at the hotel and her duties also included hauling trash to a dumpster at the rear of the building.

The Investigation: Many witnesses were interviewed, no suspects were developed. 

 

The Colorado Springs Police Department Homicide Cold Case Unit is currently responsible for approximately 90 unsolved homicide cases dating back to 1949. CSPD considers a case to be cold if it remains unsolved for more than one year.
