Substantial Amendment to the Emergency Solutions Grant

The City of Colorado Springs, Housing Development Division, has developed a Substantial Amendment for the Emergency Solutions Grant Program (ESG), formerly the Emergency Shelter Grant Program, which provides funding for homeless services in the community. 

The Department of Housing and Urban Development amended the regulations and program requirements for the Emergency Solutions Grant  (ESG) program effective January 4, 2012. The substantial amendments for the 2011 and 2012 program years are available here:

Copies of the amendments may also be picked up at the Housing Development Office located at 702 East Boulder Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80903.

A public meeting was held on April 18, 2012 at the City Administration Building to provide an overview and to discuss the uses of the ESG funds.  Citizens were invited to comment on the amendment through April 28, 2012.
