Submit a Collections Request
The Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum has both an artifact collection and an archival collection (including photographs, maps, letters, diaries, and other manuscript materials). If you want to learn more about the people, places, and events that occured in the Pikes Peak Region, please submit an Archives request form. If you are interested in researching one of the artifacts in our collection, please complete the Artifact collection reseach form.
Research requests are completed in the order they are received, and there is a .25 cent per page copying rate for textual materials ($1 per over size copy). Shipping and handling costs are $4 U.S. and $6 international. The first 30 minutes of staff research time is free however, additional rates may be required for requests involving extensive staff time. The SCLH and CSPM reserve the right to refuse to copy certain fragile, oversize, or copyright-restricted materials.

For your request to be processed, you must include the following information:
- Your Name (first and last)
- Your Contact Information (email address, U.S. telephone number, and postal address)
- What Type of Information You Are Seeking (be as specific as possible -- requests such as, "I want to know about Colorado Springs" are difficult to answer. A question that is more specific is more likely to receive the answer you are looking for. An example of a specific question is, "Who founded Colorado Springs?" --Answer: General William Jackson Palmer founded Colorado Springs.)
